Rooms are small and the bed very uncomfortable, with old wooden floors that amplify sound. The bathroom layout is confusing. You have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet, and the light switch is outside. No breakfast service is available, a letdown.

The location was peaceful and exceptionally nice, within walking distance of Tshabalala Game Sanctuary. All the staff was very helpful, resolved my issues.

We enjoyed it, didn't want to say goodbye, would be happy to recommend. Best staff and the location was exceptionally nice. The lunch in Masala'z Indian Takeaway steps away from the hotel had every choice imaginable.

Hillside Manor offers a unique experience in Bulawayo. I loved the cute host who was very understanding when we arrived late. The room was clean with fresh towels provided daily, which I really appreciated. The backup generator for electricity was a nice touch, giving me peace of mind. The garden environment was good, perfect for relaxation. The staff deserves a shoutout, always ready to engage and help, especially when they assisted with my flat tire. The bathroom layout was odd. It felt much larger than the room itself and accessing the toilet through the shower was inconvenient. Not having breakfast available was disappointing.

The location was quiet and nice - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. All the staff was very helpful, tackled our issues. The a double room was cozy with satellite TV, a microwave oven, and a fridge.

The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a peaceful area, very close to Zimbabwe, and Bulawayo. Peaceful and lovely position was an added bonus. Everything was simply excellant...

The location is convenient, not far from the Zonkizizwe Shopping Centre, making it easy to grab anything we needed. this was a great spot to unwind after exploring the local attractions.
